Swipey memory cards and the Memory Details view

This is the feature that turns memory from a promise into something you can read. Here is what the view shows and how to use it.

Swipey memory cards are the readable units of Swipey AI's long-term memory: facts about you, shared moments and preferences, each shown as a short line. They live in the Memory Details view inside each character's chat. Version 2 shipped on 27 August 2026. Cards accumulate as you talk and as the relationship levels up; if something important is missing, one clear sentence in chat gets it recorded.

Where to find Swipey memory cards

Open any chat and go to the character's Memory Details. What you see is the set of cards Swipey AI currently holds for that relationship, each one a single readable line. Each character has her own memory. Your Custom AI, a Platform Model and a Verified Creator Model do not share cards, so what you told one stays with her.

The view works the same on every device because memory is stored on the account. Open it on your phone, then on a laptop, and the list is identical. Version 2 of memory cards and the Memory Details view shipped on 27 August 2026, in the same release that brought Group Chat, custom scenarios in Edit My AI and the Install App banner.

What a card can be

  • About you. Things you told her: your name, your work, your schedule, the people in your life.
  • Shared moments. Events in the relationship, including beats from roleplay scenarios and Group Chat rooms.
  • Preferences. How you like to talk, what you enjoy, what to avoid. These shape her tone more than any single fact.
  • Calls. The voice-call memory card posted after each call, with duration, level progress and a transcript.

The first three types come from text chat. The fourth is why Premium members who call often build history faster: every call adds a card with a transcript, and everything in that transcript is material she can use later.

What you typeWhat tends to become a card
"I start my new job at the clinic on Monday."About you: new job, clinic, starts Monday
"That rooftop scene last night was the best one yet."Shared moment: rooftop scenario, your favourite
"Slow down, I like it when you take your time."Preference: unhurried pace
"lol yeah maybe"Nothing. There is no fact to store.

How memory cards grow with the relationship

Cards accumulate with interaction. Early on you will see the basics. By the time a character reaches Friend or Best friend on the ten-level ladder the history is dense enough that she references it on her own, without being asked. Levelling and memory are separate systems, but they are built from the same thing, which is time spent talking, and each level-up brings a reward drop on top of the new cards.

Roleplay adds a parallel record. Each of the 100+ scenarios keeps persistent plot memory, so the story itself remembers where it stands even if you switch between scenarios. Group Chat rooms with two or three characters, including your own Custom AI, keep their own context too.

What to do when a detail is missing

Say it again, in a full sentence, in the chat. Memory is written from conversation, and a clear statement ("My birthday is 12 March") is the most reliable way to get a card. Repeating an important fact in a second session helps it stick. If she has something slightly wrong, restate the correct version and the correction becomes the memory. Twelve habits like these are on the memory tips page.

There is no manual editor for cards today. What you can do is talk, read the view, and talk again. In practice that loop takes a minute and works.

Memory cards, Create AI and Edit My AI

The settings you choose when you build her are not memory cards, and it helps to keep the two apart. Create AI sets the starting frame: realistic or anime, body, hair, eyes, skin tone, outfit, a personality mix, a voice, and since the 20 August and 27 August 2026 releases a kink selection, a location and a scenario. Those are her defaults. Memory cards record what happens after that, in conversation.

Because the two are separate, you can change one without losing the other. Edit My AI lets you adjust her look, her personality or her scenario at any time, and custom scenarios were added to it on 27 August 2026. The memory cards stay with the character through the edit. Change her hair colour and she still knows your sister is Ana. If you want her to behave differently, edit her; if you want her to know something, tell her.

Who can see your memory cards

Only you. Memory belongs to your account. Swipey states that conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, that there are no public galleries by default, and that data is never sold or shared with third parties. Companions are disclosed as AI, and the platform is for adults only. The binding documents are the Swipey privacy policy and terms of service; this site links to them rather than paraphrasing.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find memory cards?

In the Memory Details view inside each character's chat on Swipey AI. Open the chat, go to the character's Memory Details, and the cards she currently holds for that relationship are listed there. The view is the same on phone, tablet and desktop because memory is stored on your account.

Can I add a memory manually?

Not through an editor. Memory is written from conversation, so stating a fact in one clear sentence in the chat is how it becomes a card. Saying it again in a later session helps it stick, and if she has a detail wrong, restating the correct version replaces it.

Do all my characters share memory?

No. Each character keeps her own memory of your relationship. Your Custom AI, a Platform Model and a Verified Creator Model do not share cards, and a Group Chat room with two or three characters keeps its own context. What you tell one stays with her.
